    • Monitors cash flow and complies with money handling procedures as directed. Acts to prevent loss and theft, and to maintain the integrity of all cash and comp transactions.
    • Monitors guests for intoxication, discontinues alcohol sales and informs security and immediate supervisor/casino manager. Alerts supervisor/casino manager and security regarding guests who may be difficult or, possibly violent.
    • Coordinates bartending activities with rounds and breaks of Cocktail Servers.
    • Promotes events in gaming, slots, restaurants and other areas, as required or requested. Sells change to guests on request.
    • Develops, maintains and enhances positive relations with all guests and employees.
    • Performs all duties in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act and internal policies and procedures.
    • Alerts supervisor of any concerns regarding the quality, selection and variety of all beverages, food and equipment.
    • Complies with established security policies and procedures.
    • Maintains alertness for the performance of all responsibilities, and a general awareness of bar operations at all times. Exercises caution and evaluates circumstances for appropriate security or safety response. Keeps supervisor informed of any concerns. Verifies customers are 21 years of age and stamps hand.
    • Within the realm of the responsibility of the job, maintains a clean and safe work environment. Performs duties in compliance with safety procedures, which includes use of safety equipment. Incumbents are responsible for following safety procedures, identifying unsafe practices or conditions and informing their supervisor or the Safety Committee of unsafe conditions, as directed.
    • Performs other duties, including special projects, as needed and directed.

    $11.40 tips per hour

    Preferred
    • Preferred experience: Demonstrated bartending experience, preferably within a hospitality, restaurant or gaming environment. Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure. Demonstrated experience problem solving, organizing and prioritizing work. Willing to train the right candidate.
