Position Summary

The primary role of a Steward is to properly clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils and kitchen equipment while maintaining dish room dish machine.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate dish machines to company and manufacturer specifications
• Use proper measurements of detergent and sanitizer in the dish machine
• Restock all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans and other kitchen equipment
• Break down, cleans and sanitizes the dish machine each shift
• Keep dish and other storage areas clean and organized
• Assist in the removal of all garbage from Kitchen and Stewarding areas
• Follow established health and safety standards
• Follow all policies and procedures put forth by the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel
• Other duties as assigned.
