Executive Steward oversees staff responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen(s) or other food preparation areas. Assists in cleaning equipment or food preparation areas as needed. Being an Executive Steward is responsible for inventory control and kitchen equipment, item management. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local food safety regulations. Additionally, Executive Steward may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Executive Steward supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Executive Steward typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. These positions are for 1st shift Shift schedule is 6:30am to 3:00pm
This position is responsible for preparation of all products in production while performing in a safe and conscientious manner.
Use of the following equipment: Kilns, Ovens, Calciners, Mixers, Attritors, Pumps, Impact Mills and Spray dryers.
Works with other team members.
Daily use of a computer for daily log entries.
Performs daily housekeeping duties.
Demonstrates a willingness to learn
Follows standard operating procedures to produce a quality product.
Reads and understands reports and equipment instrumentation.
Requirements: High School or equivalent education. PC experience with Windows software. Ability to lift 50 lbs. daily. Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
Must pass drug screen and background check.
Experience in a Manufacturing Environment and driving a forklift is a plus.
