Exercise Physiologist jobs in Daytona Beach, FL
Exercise Physiologist develops, implements, and evaluates exercise programs for patients. Conducts testing that assesses cardiovascular and metabolic effects of exercise for cardiac and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Being an Exercise Physiologist follows testing protocols and selects appropriate testing protocol for the patient. Monitors patient during testing. Additionally, Exercise Physiologist calculates and records testing results. Coordinates with cross-functional patient care teams. May design exercise prescriptions, instructional materials, home exercise guidelines, and discharge instructions. Conducts exercise training sessions for patients. Requires a bachelor's degree in exercise physiology. Typically reports to a manager. The Exercise Physiologist work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. To be an Exercise Physiologist typically requires 4 -7 years of related experience. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

Be the next Palmer student to lead this early morning small group exercise class at Anytime Fitness (near Palmer). We have an enthusiastic group of adults who train hard M, W, F, 5:45 AM to 6:45 AM. This class is usually led by a Palmer student who wants to make a little money while gaining hands-on experience to enhance their studies and career. Additional personal training opportunities in the club can be discussed if you are open to them.
Palmer students have taught this class for years. The participants are mostly "regulars" who are self-motivated and train hard. Due to an unexpected instructor departure, the opening ins immediate. You can start this week.
