Exercise Physiologist jobs in Vineland, NJ

An Exercise Specialist assists members with cardiovascular, flexibility, strength and endurance training. An EP performs health history reviews and biometric screenings to identify and prioritize appropriate exercise prescription. An EP must evaluate pertinent medical records and thoroughly interview members to clarify medical history needs, goals, and problems. An EP must follow orders from the referring physician in providing education and instruction to promote/maintain health and well-being. An EP must practice in the acceptable scope of ACSM guidelines, and hospital policies and procedures. An EP also provides support for front desk operations, member services, EVS and Maintenance as needed, and is required to support all Inspira Health Fitness Connection locations as needed.

Education & Experience:

• B.S. degree or higher in exercise science or equivalent required.
• One year experience preferred.

Certification/Licensure:

• CPR (American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS) required within 100 days of hire.
• ACSM or other NCCA accredited certification required within 100 days of hire.
