Our protocol begins with "EEG/qEEG" Brain Function Mapping to identify suboptimal brain processes. NTMS then recommends to the physician therapies designed to optimize brain and body function in the form of the Wave Training System and Bio Neurofeedback “Entrainment”. The Wave Training System utilizes whole body vibration as a physical therapy modality meant to increase blood flow to the brain as well as improve the quality of life of patients through increased mobility, strength, balance, and more. NTMS addresses the root cause of mind and body dysfunctions by assessing the brain for abnormal brain frequencies and coherence patterns.

JOB SUMMARY

The Medical Technician, under general supervision of the NTMS management team and indirect supervision of clinic physician, performs various patient care services to include the above-mentioned medical treatments, diagnostics, and administrative tasks.

The technician will report to a North Fort Worth Pain Clinic

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE

Each technician will be given proper training on all devices, treatment programs, company expectations and more to ensure a successful career opportunity.

Candidates will administer diagnostic scans, and provide treatments while following HIPPA and practice policies. Proper notes and documentation will be required, and a general understanding of insurance billing and coding is necessary. Computer skills and proper communication skills are required.

Characteristics of great technicians are:

· The ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor, and interface well with patients in a medical office required, and always wear proper uniform.

· Friendly demeanor and excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team

· Good bedside manner as you will be working directly with patients face to face

· To provide support to fellow staff and technicians, when necessary

· Always maintain a calm disposition, no matter how busy the day may be

· Responsible for building business through patient referrals and possible patient phone screens

· Will always review each of the questionnaires with the patient, ensuring that the patient understands the questions, and the correct information is reflected in the questionnaire.

· The Med Tech will be responsible for reviewing patient charts and making recommendations to physician.

· The Med Tech will be responsible for maintaining proper notes, tracking spreadsheets, and other documentation before the conclusion of the workday, always ensuring the medical justification corresponds with the correct ICD 10 codes.

· Provide prompt and timely sessions to patients

o Technician shall never be late and should be respectful of time- start early if applicable

· Follow updated in-service/housekeeping/operational notes and announcements

· Follow all verbal coaching and training recommendations

· Follow all verbal operational changes as necessary

Must be available to work 8AM – 5PM MOnday - Thursday with half day Fridays.
