Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Delivery Manager, the Delivery Scheduler works with customers to schedule delivery of specialty fitness equipment into customer homes/sites. Duties include interacting with customers via phone and email and often represents the company as the “first-line” after sale customer service.
Responsibilities:
The principal duties and responsibilities of the Delivery Scheduler consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
Administrative:
· Prepares reports requested by the Manager/Supervisor in an accurate and timely manner.
· Keeps the Manager/Supervisor informed of all pertinent factors affecting the assigned responsibilities.
· Assists staff in resolving any problem areas.
· Ensures Iridium accuracy and inventory for all sold deliveries.
Inventory/Delivery:
· Ensures that inventory is in stock before scheduling the delivery.
· Manages delivery schedule and assignment for each delivery crew.
· Ensures daily pull list gets out to the warehouse team for next days deliveries.
· Ensures daily driver paperwork is accurate and ready for each crew daily.
· Finalizes/completes all tickets from delivery crews daily.
· Onsite inspections when scheduling jobs to remodel/new construction commercial customers
Customer Service:
· Establishes positive long-term relationships with all internal and external customers
· Assist with customers via phone and email
· Contacts residential and commercial customers to schedule deliveries.
Marginal Tasks:
· Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education:
· High School diploma or equivalent is required
Experience:
· Minimum 2 years’ in customer service required
· 2 – 4 years inventory management experience preferred.
· Previous Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word skills required
