Wheeling University invites applications for adjunct faculty positions in the Department of Athletic Training and Exercise Science. The successful applicant will have earned a Master of Science of Athletic Training, a Master of Science in a related field, or a Doctorate in a related field or certification as: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation / First Aid Instructor; Strength and Conditioning Coach. This faculty position will teach in the undergraduate Exercise Science program and/or general courses in the undergraduate Athletic Training and the Master of Science of Athletic Training (MSAT) programs. Wheeling University is a private Roman Catholic university in Wheeling, West Virginia. It was founded as Wheeling College in 1954 by the Society of Jesus and was a Jesuit institution until 2019. Requirements
Job duties include didactic instruction to the students in the undergraduate Exercise Science program and/or general courses in the undergraduate Athletic Training and the Master of Science of Athletic Training (MSAT) programs . Typical teaching responsibilities include preparation of course syllabi and materials and the assignment of grades.

5. Ability to collaboratively participate in the development of course and program curriculum, prepare course materials and effectively deliver didactic presentations.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. A Master of Science of Athletic Training, a Master of Science in a related field, or a Doctorate in a related field is required;
OR certification as:
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation / First Aid Instructor
- Strength and Conditioning Coach
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Previous academic appointment with teaching responsibilities at the postsecondary level.
2. Demonstrated record of leadership within an accredited program and the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and faculty.
