Position Summary

• To prepare and assist patients for their stress test in the office setting.
• Stress test responsibilities include explaining procedure to patient, proper electrode placement and equipment set up, documenting manual B/P's with ongoing patient assessment during the test, starting IVs as necessary, and notifying physician of any EKG abnormalities.  
• Performs Holter/Event monitors and prepare all paperwork for results.
• Assists with orientating and on the job training, maintain and order supplies, and carry out appropriate billing procedures.
• Abides by all compliance requirements and policies and performs all responsibilities in an ethical manner.

Qualifications/Specifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from a four-year college or university. 
• Experience: 1 year of patient care experience required. Prefer candidate with strong knowledge of cardiac rhythms.
