Typically requires a bachelor's degree in exercise science. Additionally, Exercise Specialist typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Exercise Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the physical therapy and wellness team to maximize the benefits of the Performance Optimal Health model
- Develop programs and interventions to reduce the number of injuries and aid in faster recovery
- Provide personal training services to our clients
- Administer optimal health assessments and provide health coaching emphasizing the integration of the Four Pillars of Optimal Health
- Utilize technology for remote health monitoring and data aggregation
- Provide benchmark physiological information to enable long-term athletic development
- Ensure the delivery of quality services and outcomes to meet or exceed our clients' expectations
- Exhibit courtesy, compassion, and respect to clients, care givers, and colleagues
- Administer exercise stress tests in the Performance Optimal Health population
- Participate in quality improvement activities
