Job Overview:
Dental office seeks an experienced dental assistant. Applicant must work well in a team environment and possess an extremely positive attitude.

Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including patient assessment, X-rays, and providing necessary instruments and materials
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing and arranging dental instruments and equipment
- Ensure patient comfort by explaining procedures, answering questions, and addressing concerns
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including medical history and treatment plans
- Perform basic dental laboratory tasks, such as fabricating temporary crowns
- Educate patients on post-operative care instructions
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred
- Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental software is highly desirable, but can be learned
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
