In collaboration with Terrain leadership, a Display coordinator creates an emotionally engaging environment through visual artistry and servicing the customer.

They are responsible for supporting the visual display process and contribute to supporting merchandising and daily procedures.

Customer Experience

• CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT : collaborates with the leadership team in cultivating Terrain’s four promises : to welcome, to inspire, to inform and to appreciate our customer
• VISUAL INFLUENCE : partners with the visual team on the creation of an engaging visual experience that appeals to the customer that is representative of current home décor and gardening design
• INSPIRATION : demonstrates extraordinary service by sharing product knowledge, new arrivals, and trends to inform the customer and inspire their indoor and outdoor spaces .

Leadership Team Management

VISUAL LEADERSHIP : mentors the team through training visual expectations, product standards, and materials / tool management;

contributes to store meetings by sharing inspiration, new ideas, and pertinent brand visual information with the team

• FLOOR PRESENCE : actively participates in managing the store environment and customer experience by facilitating an energized pace, positivity of the team, and management of daily display needs and product flow
• EMPOWERMENT : acts as an elevated team member, exercises decision-making skills to support problem solving and enhances each customer’s experience

Visual Business Operations

• OPERATIONS SUPPORT : assists visual team in maintaining a visually compelling store; supports the store business by maintaining the visual needs
• PLANNING AND PRIORITIZATION : collaborates in the display planning process through sharing of inspiration, idea generation, and sketching;

prioritizes projects and monitors progress with timelines while staying within visual budget

VISUAL ENVIRONMENT : applies seasonal direction and inspiration provided by the Home Office to meet the unique needs of the store;

establishes signage and fixtures that uphold presentation standards

DAILY PROCESSES : supports daily operating processes such as installing visual displays , merchandising product , maintaining store standards, restocking product, and helping with day to day visual needs

Communication Relationships

• STORE COMMUNITY : contributes to an inclusive and people-first philosophy; engages with employees at all levels to encourage open dialogue, reinforce follow through, and ensure that the store team is heard and supported
• BUILD RELATIONSHIPS : builds and maintains productive partnerships with members of the team, contributing to a culture of strong communication and teamwork;

COMMUNICATION LOOP : checks in with leadership to maintain communication and teamwork on completing store objectives; demonstrates adaptability by redirecting priorities as needed
