About the position:
E Ink provides the exciting and enabling “electronic paper” display technology used by eReaders throughout the world to provide a low-power, paper-like display. E Ink is seeking an innovative and results-focused individual to develop driving electronics, software, and test methods to enable custom and novel driving of electrophoretic displays. The focus is on understanding and quantifying the limitations of current active matrix backplane performance in context of current and new electrophoretic display technology. Based on this understanding the candidate would propose driving electronics, controller functionality, and backplane design improvements to support the needs of our customers. In this role you will work in a collaborative development team environment and work closely with other development teams and a production team. You will be responsible for planning projects, executing experiments and communicating activities and results. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, and a record of driving toward pragmatic solutions to industrial problems.
