Improves processes for effective/efficient functioning of Employee Wellness program.

Ensures proper compliance with regulatory agencies, including Joint Commission and Human Resources laws and regulations; and improves upon that level of knowledge. Assures wellness plan compliance with federal legislation.

Maintains wellness budget, recording all income and expenses for the wellness program.

Reconcile the monthly Gym membership invoices, aerobics instructor invoices from area gym against employee payroll deductions and group fitness class sign in sheets and completes check requests as needed to pay the membership fees and contracted instructors.

Identifies any third party (business associate) who performs or assists in performance of a function or service on behalf of the URHCS Employee Wellness Plan. Obtains executed Business Associate Agreements with vendors associated with the Employee Wellness Plan and maintains the agreements.

Assist Benefits Coordinator with preparation of the annual Benefits Enrollment Wellness Screenings. Coordinates date, time and location for Annual Enrollment and assists as needed with scheduling rooms. Develops employee forms, brochures and communications for screenings.

Reviews, reconciles and investigates all wellness plan monthly reporting data from wellness-related vendors

Develops and distributes quarterly Wellness Dashboard and reports to Director; maintains archive/history.

Creates and revises wellness plan documents, forms, brochures, notices, information sheets, new employee orientation packets and Annual Screening procedures and packets to meet all compliance requirements and communication needs.

Oversees the onsite Employee Fitness Center, and its contracted employees.

Leads and directs the efforts of the Bee Healthy Committee and Team Leads. Provide oversight of a Bee Healthy event during Hospital Week. Promote Bee Healthy activities effectively and efficiently. Direct and oversee the committee meetings

Provide recommendations and coordination of onsite and offsite wellness activities (exercise classes, education classes & sessions, challenges, community fitness-related activities).

Ability to provide wellness mentoring, coaching, and accountability for URHCS employees.

Works with Food Services Director to ensure healthy options are provided in the dining room hospital.

Identifies malfunctioning equipment in the Employee Fitness Center and ensures the equipment is fixed. Works to maintain the Fitness Center is kept clean and equipment functions properly.

Performs all other tasks/responsibilities as necessary and as requested.
