    Summary

    The Exhibit Ops Project Lead oversees and monitors the post-sale Exhibit Ops projects delivering from Freeman E&ES branch locations. They assume responsibility for successful and accurate completion and profitability for rental and client-owned exhibit properties provided by the local E&ES team.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    • Assume complete accountability for monitoring and controlling project ship dates and deadlines.
    • Oversee receipt and inspection of customer-owned exhibit assets for accuracy and damage
    • Oversee inspection and prep of client-owned and rental properties prior to shipping.
    • Secure necessary information, verify accuracy, and communicate labor and material requirements to properly process tickets.
    • Monitor process of manifests, set-up drawings and supervisor kits with CSMs and Planner-Coordinators to include in shipments as necessary.
    • Coordinate shipping order of properties with Exhibit Ops Managers/Supervisors and Traveling Leads for efficiencies during move-in.
    • Lead final project load-out meetings prior to shipment.
    • Understand and be completely knowledgeable of our company, including the company's mission, vision and core values.
    • Practice advanced customer service, communication and interpersonal and sales skills.
    • Responsible for staying current with industry technology standards and company product knowledge and expertise.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Education & Experience

    • Associates Degree, Bachelor's degree (B. A.) preferred from four-year college or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Associates degree and/or five (5) or more years of exhibit and event industry experience.
    • Highly organized, flexible and ability to work necessary hours in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment; ability to remain calm under pressure.
    • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and details
    • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
    • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
    • Basic to intermediate knowledge and experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Ability to travel to show-site to assist in oversite of installation and dismantle efforts, as needed.
