Having an entrepreneurial mindset, as well as the ability and interest to constantly look for opportunities in the the marketplace for the company, is essential. A degree in Convention Management or Hospitality is a plus.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for business development: selling of exhibition booths & sponsorships on a daily basis for assigned shows
* Facilitating exhibitions* Handling the logistics of trade shows, conferences, and similar events
* Work with management team and follow sales strategies to ensure sales targets are met
* Ensure the company’s standards of sales performance and targeted goals are met
Requirements:
* 3-5 years experience in exhibit management and sales
* 4 year college degree required
* Detail-oriented* Must have ability to develop and follow timelines
* Be able to effectively manage multiple tasks
* Must be customer focused
* Be a strategic planner
* Have an understanding of social media marketing
* Attendance at all shows
* Must have physical ability to lift and manipulate 50 - 75 pounds
* Must be able to be in office Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm and weekends as needed.
Salary: $50,000 commission
