U.S. Display Group is seeking a Digital Graphics Specialist-Print Production for our multi-million dollar, 6 color high-speed single pass digital printer. Responsibilities Include

• Preflight and edit customer files utilizing Adobe Illustrator and Colorgate ripping software, laying out and creating files for digital print.
• Maintain shop standard pdf workflow (Adobe plugins), schedule work, establish priorities, complete all jobs in a timely manner
• Perform all work required for printing, file preparation, and machine preparation
• Develop and maintain shop color management systems - setup/maintain color profiles, calibrate monitors and printers as needed
• Create artwork files for print, using color, type, illustration, photography, and other design techniques

Qualifications Include

• Experience working in a printing environment is preferred.
• Excellent project and time management skills, ability to prioritize workflow.
• Ability to communicate ideas visually, orally, and in writing to coworkers and clients.
• Problem-solving skills with ability to use available resources to solve issues.
• Consistent attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of Pantone and CMYK color spaces.
• Self-disciplined and organized.
• Able to function well in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Can manage multiple projects at a time, work efficiently under pressure.
• Knowledge of Prepress concepts such as imposition, preflight and pdf workflow.
• 3-5 years Print production design and/or prepress experience required.
• Familiarity with ArtiosCAD a plus
