Key Responsibilities:
As the Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will oversee a team of AP Specialists in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, vendor statement reconciliations, customer service, and related reporting. Your role includes maintaining meticulous files and documentation in line with invoice/payment guidelines and generally accepted accounting principles.
Supervise and guide the team in performing check runs and electronic payments.
Ownership of promptly and professionally responding to vendor/business partner inquiries.
Enforce established policies and procedures for the accounts payable function.
Perform other duties as required to contribute to the overall success of the team.
Required Skills / Abilities:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
5-7 years of experience in high-volume accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
General experience with invoice accounting software, with a preference for proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics.
Thorough understanding of accounts payable functions.
Strong supervisory and analytical skills.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook.
