Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Expeditor to join our team. As an Expeditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of food orders from the kitchen to the customers. Your attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively will contribute to providing exceptional customer service.
Duties:
- Coordinate food orders between the kitchen and serving staff
- Ensure all food items are prepared and plated correctly
- Verify accuracy of orders before they are delivered to customers
- Monitor food quality and presentation
- Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and food preparation areas
- Collaborate with servers, chefs, and other staff members to ensure a seamless dining experience for customers
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
Preferred Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in a restaurant or food service setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Proficient in handling food and working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, including basic culinary techniques, is a plus
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
