Job Title: Expeditor

Purpose: Support building alliances and maintain customer relationships to promote the full suite of STROCO products and services to current and potential customers.

Responsibilities

• Understand and proactively provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding their orders, schedule changes, purchase order changes, shipping information, backlog and any additional needs
• Attend and participate in general customer service and operations meetings
• Coordinate RFQ activities including accurate, consistent pricing and lead time information within customer’s requested timeframe
• Influence production and shipping schedules to meet the customer’s needs

Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of ERP systems
• Strong MS Word and Excel experience
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Able to read blueprints and shop orders to comprehend the quality expectation for the order
• Perform sequence operation in a timely manner
• Multi-task and take on new projects in a fast-paced environment
• Work with minimal supervision

Education/Experience:

Required:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Strong Microsoft Word and Excel
• Knowledge of an ERP system

Preferred:

• 2-4 years’ experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
• Sales experience desirable
• Technical aviation/aerospace experience

Physical Demand

• Sit or stand for periods of time
• Reach, stoop, or kneel
• Lift and carry weight up to approximately 20 pounds
• Loud noise
