Exploration Director directs and develops an organization's oil and gas exploration projects. Analyzes and evaluates the opportunities, risk and profits for oil and gas deposits exploration. Being an Exploration Director initiates exploration plans based on compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Directs geological and geophysical programs and may have oversight for land acquisition and leasing activities. Additionally, Exploration Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Exploration Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be an Exploration Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. SEASONAL FACILITIES SERVICES TECH

    • SUMMARY


    Under the supervision of the Facility Services Manager, the Seasonal Facility Services Technician assists in maintenance of the facilities, equipment, and various mechanical systems for Turtle Bay’s 300-acre campus. The Facilities Services Technician will assist the other Technicians in day-to-day operations, especially related to seasonal events at the park.


    • ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS


    Install lighting for annual light show. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain light show and seasonal equipment. Assist Facilities team in their maintenance of the campus as needed. How Accomplished:


    • Perform all work duties in compliance with established safety procedures. Maintain a continuous awareness and knowledge of safe work practices including tools, lock- and tag-out procedures, warning signage, protective equipment, and methods.
    • The Technician is required to keep work areas clean and organized as well as maintaining the cleanliness of work sites and equipment/mechanical areas.
    • Assist other campus departments in setting up displays for Garden of Lights. During event, help provide Facilities and technical support for event production. May require flexible schedule for evening shifts during Garden of Lights.
    • May include participation in the planning, scheduling and implementation of associated preventive routine maintenance and repair of park facilities, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and lighting systems as appropriate. Troubleshoots and repairs equipment failures in a timely manner.
    • Provide set-up and assistance for programs, events, meetings, building rentals and other functions.
    • Perform other duties as required to support the effective operation of Turtle Bay, its staff, security personnel, and its visitors.
    • Under the guidance of team members, the Technician may be required to assist team in response to a building malfunction or campus security/safety situation.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

      • Experience or training in the construction, electrical or mechanical fields is preferred. Experience with tools is a required.


    • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    • Demonstrated maintenance skills (construction, electrical, welding, plumbing, etc.) necessary to maintain structures, playground equipment, benches, boardwalks/decking, etc.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills to provide coherent direction to contractor personnel as well as interacting with staff and visitors.
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office is a plus.
    • Employment contingent on passing a pre-employment background check and drug screening.


      • MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT/MACHINES USAGE
        • Necessitates ability to work on ladder, digging, use of hand tools. Should be able to work independently and as a member of a team. Basic Electrical skills necessary.
        • Experience working on a lift is a plus, but not required.
        • Installation experience beneficial


      • WORKING CONDITIONS
        • With a varying frequency of 3 to 8 hours, position will require balancing; bending; climbing; operating controls buttons, knobs, pedals, levers, and cranks; fine finger manipulation; kneeling; carrying or lifting (between 25-100 lbs.); power grasping; pulling; pushing; simple grasping; sitting; squatting; standing; twisting; and walking.
        • Technician will also be working with or around job related chemicals and at times need to work from heights of approximately twenty feet on a ladder, raised platform, or building roof.
        • Ability to work outside in different weather conditions.
