The College of Literature, Science, and the Arts (LSA) is looking for a Managing Director of the Opportunity Hub, Career Exploration and Engagement, reporting directly to the Assistant Dean of Student Development and Career Initiatives. The LSA Opportunity Hub supports liberal arts and sciences students as they develop their professional identities and aspirations. It provides students with career coaching and exploration, access to internships, internship funding, and connections to jobs, employers, and alums. Students can connect their classroom learning to purposeful work and meaningful lives. The Managing Director focuses on three primary areas of responsibility: (1) leadership and operational oversight; (2) organizational vision and strategic planning; and (3) stewardship of stakeholder relationships. This work includes overseeing alumni engagement, employer engagement, and student coaching and outreach.
LSA is the largest and one of the oldest of the university's 19 schools and colleges, with a long tradition of distinction in teaching and research across the liberal arts.
