Extrusion Operator
CFL USA, LLC is currently seeking candidates to join our rapidly expanding team. We seek to hire an Extrusion Operator. This position is responsible for transforming several raw materials into finished board via a highly automated extrusion process. Extrusion Operators provide technical expertise throughout the process in our new manufacturing facility located in Adairsville, Georgia. Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform position duties in the safest, most efficient manner
- Work closely with scheduling team to ensure materials align with schedule
- Confirm whether equipment is working properly prior to operation
- Troubleshoot equipment failures within scope of job duties.
- Ensure product compliance to company standards and specifications
- Maintain calibration of equipment within scope of position
- Perform inspections during production
- Document data into ERP system per SOP requirements
- Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency
- Inspect raw materials to include lab analytics
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must have ability to work in metric units of measure.
- Must be able to demonstrate basic math skills
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to demonstrate.
- Must be able to clearly communicate in verbal and written communication with teammates and supervision.
Education and Experience:
- Prefer at least 2 years of experience in an LVT manufacturing role. Prefer twin screw extrusion.
- Must have at least a GED or high school diploma.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
- Must be willing and able to work in an LVT manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to work 12 hour, rotating shifts
- Must be able to navigate the manufacturing environment within the Extrusion department (automated, continuous line)
