Extrusion Operator sets up and operates an extrusion machine in accordance with established procedures, guidelines, and customer requirements. Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, position, and secure machinery. Being an Extrusion Operator adjusts and cleans machines. Documents work performed as required. Additionally, Extrusion Operator may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager. The Extrusion Operator possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. The Intake Operator is a key member of the Logistics team. This position requires operating and cleaning the receiving equipment and coordinating the logistics within the receiving bays. The Intake Operator is responsible for carrying out tasks in accordance with IDSA/USDA, Company policies, OSHA, regulations and applicable laws, while following the Management Operating Structure (MOS). In addition to ensuring all documentation is timely, accurate, and complete, this position is responsible for ensuring that GMP’s, Sanitation requirements and performance measures are tracked and met.
