Extrusion Operator, Sr. jobs in Erie, PA

We are growing and looking to add extrusion Technicians in our Fairview, PA facility. We are currently hiring for all shifts. PLEASE LET US KNOW WHAT SHIFT YOU ARE INTERESTED IN.

Job Overview:
We are seeking Extrusion Operators to join our team. As an Extrusion Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining extrusion machinery to produce high-quality plastic products.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate extrusion machines according to production specifications
- Produce parts according to specification and manufacturing standards
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Read technical drawings and use precision measuring tools

Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating extrusion machinery is preferred, but will train the right candidate
- Familiarity with forklift operation
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material requirements
- Mechanical aptitude
- Experience in assembly or warehouse environments is beneficial

Physical requirements:

Typical manufacturing working conditions including standing, walking and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Plant work includes exposure to dust, noise, and seasonal temperatures and hazards. Proper precautions including using PPE to ensure safety to self and others.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
