Additionally, Extrusion Operator, Sr. may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Extrusion Operator, Sr. works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Implement strategies to reduce waste and optimize inventory turnover.Prepare regular cost reports for F& B, Banquets, and Catering, providing detailed insights into cost trends, variances, and recommendations for improvement.Collaborate with culinary and sales teams to assess the profitability of menu items and catering packages.Investigate and report on variances between actual and expected costs, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.Evaluate vendor contracts, negotiate terms, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality of products and services.Ensure compliance with accounting principles and internal controls in F& B cost management.Assist in the month-end closing process, including reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries, and producing accurate financial statements.
