Facilities Director manages the maintenance, construction, repair, and refurbishment operations of one or more facilities or properties. Implements policies and procedures that ensure the optimal functioning of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment. Being a Facilities Director monitors daily building operations of all systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management to ensure reliability. Tracks work orders for quality, adherence to service standards, and budgeted guidelines. Additionally, Facilities Director directs training of managers, supervisors, and employees in best practices for maintenance work, service and safety standards, and local laws and regulations. Oversees vendors or contractors engaged for construction projects. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. A. Serve as main point of contact for daily facility and maintenance needs for all athletics facilities, coaches and staff.
B. Serve as athletics representative when meeting with all campus and outside vendor contractors/trades.
C. Provide support to department leadership and game operations staff to support the supervision and oversight of all athletic facilities, including facility reservation requests, facility rentals, contracts and insurance.
D. Assist in other departmental and university wide projects and initiatives as necessary.

Be responsive to coaches and staff phone calls regarding daily facility requests.
Submit, track and ensure completion of work orders.
Assist in daily facility scheduling.
Set up for athletic events, on and off campus, including tables/chairs, parking signs, ticketing and replay systems, etc.
Have thorough understanding of all facility functions including lights, scoreboards, replay, audio/visual, etc.
Have knowledge of and commitment to NCAA, WAC Conference and University guidelines for Athletic contests.
Oversee operations of other games and events hosted at ACU facilities.
Maintain accurate and detailed records (including some financial), checklists and other documents as it relates to game operations.
