Job Summary: We're looking for a motivated and seasoned Director of Facilities to lead the upkeep, management, and enhancement of our Club's infrastructure and amenities. This role is crucial in maintaining our reputation for safety, functionality, and beauty across Pine Canyon's facilities, ensuring they meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft and execute detailed maintenance strategies to maintain and enhance the functionality and appearance of our facilities, ensuring all systems and equipment operate flawlessly.
- Lead, mentor, and manage our maintenance staff, cultivating a culture of excellence, collaboration, and outstanding service.
- Oversee contracts with vendors and contractors for specialized services, ensuring competitive pricing and high-quality work.
- Manage financial aspects of facilities maintenance, including budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenditures.
- Regularly inspect facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and improvement opportunities, and oversee significant maintenance and renovation projects.
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities and inventories and manage the procurement of necessary equipment and supplies.
- Stay updated with industry trends and innovations in facilities management to implement continuous improvement measures.
- Serve as the primary contact for management and external stakeholders regarding facilities-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and club policies, and provide safety training to staff.
Qualifications:
- At least 8 years in facilities management, with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity, preferably in a residential or hospitality setting.
-Demonstrated success in managing maintenance programs, budgets, and teams.
Deep understanding of building systems, codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Exceptional communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Experience with CMMS and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Relevant professional certifications (CFM, FMP) are advantageous.
- Must have a valid driver's license and occasional travel capability.
Physical Requirements: May include lifting heavy objects, bending, kneeling, standing for long periods, and performing physically demanding tasks.
