What Does a Director of Facilities Do?: As a Director of Facilities with Lower Keys Medical Center, you will spend your day…

Maintain and manage Statement of Conditions. 

• Directs an organization's facilities department.
• Oversees the functioning of building systems including mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, and elevators. May also manage the maintenance of buildings and grounds.
• Oversees contractors for facility renovation projects entailing HVAC, electrical systems, and production floor arrangement.
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.
• Typically reports to a top management.
• Bachelors degree preferred
• 7- 10 years of leadership experience in facilities maintenance.
• Familiar with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Knowledgeable of rules and regulations for maintenance in an industrial setting.

• Baccalaureate Degree preferred.
• Minimum 7 years experience in a leadership role of Facilities.
• Minimum 4 years experience in maintenance in a hospital.
