Facilities Director manages the maintenance, construction, repair, and refurbishment operations of one or more facilities or properties. Implements policies and procedures that ensure the optimal functioning of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment. Being a Facilities Director monitors daily building operations of all systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management to ensure reliability. Tracks work orders for quality, adherence to service standards, and budgeted guidelines. Additionally, Facilities Director directs training of managers, supervisors, and employees in best practices for maintenance work, service and safety standards, and local laws and regulations. Oversees vendors or contractors engaged for construction projects. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Facilities Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. General Description
Provides direct patient care to residents in a certified unit. May include but not limited to, taking and monitoring vital signs, assisting other medical staff in medical treatment, dressing, feeding, bathing and transporting to activities and other related tasks. Basic computer skills are required. This position may require rotating shifts to meet facility needs, shift assignment is subject to change per operational need. Mandatory overtime is an essential function of this position. Performs related duties as required.
Applicants selected for employment must successfully complete a chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug screening test. All employees shall be subject to drug testing for probable cause as set forth in agency and bureau policies. Applicants must successfully pass a background check. Minimum Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or the equivalent.
Licensure/Certifications: Certification or Registration as a Nursing Assistant or Nurse Aide.
