Facilities Director manages the maintenance, construction, repair, and refurbishment operations of one or more facilities or properties. Implements policies and procedures that ensure the optimal functioning of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment. Being a Facilities Director monitors daily building operations of all systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management to ensure reliability. Tracks work orders for quality, adherence to service standards, and budgeted guidelines. Additionally, Facilities Director directs training of managers, supervisors, and employees in best practices for maintenance work, service and safety standards, and local laws and regulations. Oversees vendors or contractors engaged for construction projects. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Facilities Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Facilities Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Medical Facilities of America is seeking a Regional Director of Clinical Services (RN) to support several of our healthcare centers in the Eastern region of Virginia. This position assesses, plans, evaluates, advises, and recommends actions to be taken to ensure the highest practicable level of outcome of patient care. - Assists and plans training for the clinical services department and in the centers when indicated
- Prepares reports including progress, center visits, and areas of concentration as requested
- Collaborates in the overall planning, evaluating, and initiation of policies and procedures.
- Maintains current knowledge of federal and state regulations and corporate policy affecting centers’ clinical problems.
Required: Current license in Virginia to practice as an RN. Minimum five year's experience in Nursing Administration and education.
Preferred: BSN Degree
