Job Overview:
We seek a skilled and experienced Facility Maintenance Manager to join our team at O2 Fitness. The Facility Maintenance Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functioning and appearance of our fitness facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facility maintenance, possess excellent leadership skills, and be dedicated to maintaining a safe and inviting environment for our members.
Responsibilities:
Maintenance Oversight:
Oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations of O2 Fitness facilities.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the longevity and efficiency of equipment and systems.
Coordinate and schedule regular inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
Ensure the equipment on the fitness floor is operating safely and properly
Performing repair or general maintenance of facilities, buildings, grounds, and equipment at various sites, including electrical, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, drywall, and painting tasks.
Able to diagnose plumbing issues to repair leaks, clogged lines, and drains and maintain septic systems.
Able to diagnose electrical issues to repair wiring, outlets, lights, circuit breakers, and simple repair of appliances.
Repairing and treating structures such as showers, floors, sinks, walls, windows, carpets, and roofs.
Performing minor repairs, troubleshooting, and adjustment of locks on cabinets, locks, closets, and desks.
Team Management:
Lead and manage a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and support.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes productivity and excellence.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement improvement plans as needed.
Budget Management:
Manage the facility maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
Source and negotiate with vendors for equipment, supplies, and services.
Safety Compliance:
Enforce safety protocols and standards to ensure the well-being of members and staff.
Stay current on industry regulations and best practices related to facility maintenance and safety.
Emergency Response:
Develop and implement emergency response plans for facility-related incidents.
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance situations and participate in resolving issues as they arise.
Communication:
Collaborate with other department heads and managers to address cross-functional facility needs.
Communicate maintenance schedules, updates, and issues to relevant stakeholders.

$60,000 salary

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is preferred.

In-depth knowledge of building systems, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices
