Facilities Engineers, Organogenesis, Inc., HQ in Canton, MA; Main worksite office at 85 Dan Road, Canton, MA 02021: Facilities Engineer will be responsible for the engineering, planning, design, and construction of manufacturing clean rooms, shipping areas, pilot plant offices, and laboratories, to meet the requirements of Organogenesis and our customers. The Facilities Engineer provides engineering support for the modifications to manufacturing and building facilities, utilities, and automated monitoring and control systems. The Facilities Engineer also implements commissioning and startup activities and maintains facilities related QSR documentation. The administration and management of capital projects is required as well as providing input in the development and execution of the company wide program. Daily duties: Execute facilities and project documentation generation and revision using SmartSolve Pilgrim system. Documents include but are not limited to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Plans, Commissioning Test Plans (CTPs), User Requirement Specifications (URS), Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS), and submittals to support commissioning and validation processes; Read and understand mechanical systems drawings and P&IDs and apply information to development of cGMP documentation; Assess, “walk down” and red-line mechanical systems design drawings to compare with as-built or as-found conditions; Assist in the implementation of any changes to the buildings or utilities, especially those under QSR requirements; Assist in the investigation and/or implementation of corrective actions based on Facilities related problems or incidents; Develop and execute engineering test protocols to commission new or re-engineered utility equipment or systems; Provide technical support to the Change Control teams; and Maintain files for Facilities Engineering-related documents and drawings. The Facilities Engineer will be designated to support activities at our offices in Canton, MA and may report to our facility in Norwood, MA on an as-needed basis. Telecommuting is not permitted. Basic pay range is eighty-six thousand, nine hundred and seventy-eight dollars to one hundred and nineteen thousand, seven hundred and nineteen dollars for full-time employment and standard company benefits. Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field of study with 2 years of experience in facilities and project documentation in the pharmaceutical or medical device industries.
