Our high-profile client and American multinational technology corporation is seeking a Critical Environment Facility Support Engineer for a 6-18-month contract assignment at their facility located in Des Moines, IA. The ideal candidate holds an OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification and previous experience supporting electrical and mechanical systems in a high availability infrastructure environment. Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Engineer

Location: Des Moines, IA

Pay Range: $43-48/HR on Experis W2

What's the Job?

• Take daily operational readings of all electrical equipment through routine rounds/log taking (temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.)
  
• Ability to follow operating procedures (SOPs) for critical environment planned work activities
  
• Energize a cabinet in a Colo
  
• Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) preventative maintenance quarterly and annually
  
• System control panel preventative maintenance

What's Needed?

• 5 years of Experience with electrical systems in a high availability assembly / manufacturing / critical infrastructure environment such as data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or related fields.
  
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  
• All candidates must hold an OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E
  
• Fundamental understanding of the National Electrical Code
  
• Previous datacenter experience a plus
