Job Title: Facilities Engineer Automation

Job Location: Mt. Sterling, IL (or) Chesterfield, MO.

Duration: 6-month Contract to Hire

Working: On-Site, but with some flexibility



Your Role:

• Provides engineering support across the business including facility layout and remodeling design; energy efficiencies and overall footprint reduction; new building design and construction management.
• Coordinates any Automation engineering-related activity at all locations, in conjunction with operational leadership and applicable safety requirements.
• Supports capital assessment and implementation with both internal and external partners.
• Supports operations in long-term Automation and capital planning.
• Interacts with vendors, product selection, and procurement.
• Facilitates occasional project management.
• Applies lean thinking and tools to eliminate waste in all areas of the position.

Role Specifics:

• Travel Overnight travel (average of 4-6 nights per month) for company meetings, training, and project responsibilities.
• Must have the ability to travel independently as needed, without restriction by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train some international travel may be required.

We Need You To Have:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and professional engineering certification.
• Degrees can be in any of the disciplines architecture, mechanical, civil, structural, or electrical.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
