Facilities Engineer plans and implements the design of plants, offices, and production lines in order to maximize the use of available space and improve production efficiency. Estimates costs related to layout design, including equipment and materials, labor, etc. and monitors the construction process. Being a Facilities Engineer researches production/processing equipment or fixtures for purchase and gathers data relating to their ability to meet organizational needs. Ensures that established efficiency and safety targets are met. Additionally, Facilities Engineer typically requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be a Facilities Engineer typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed.   • The Operation Manager supports and manages Janitorial cleaning service operations for partner contracts. This position formulates partnerships across the operations and the HR team to deliver value-added services to staffing, contract partnerships, and workforce that reflect the business objectives.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to:

    • Experience leading teams, including managing all aspects of hiring and performance management
    • Proven leader who can coach team members in a positive fashion to improve performance while still holding the team accountable to standards
    • Passionate about customer service, and proven track record of improving the quality of service
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize goals and multiple projects simultaneously
    • Flexible with their schedule to monitor work at night on occasion
    • Ideally understands the fundamentals of financial management
    • Manage all operations and personnel in the assigned department with overall responsibilities for production, safety, quality, and other activities necessary to provide the contracted services.
    • Ensure increasing levels of customer and employee satisfaction while improving the efficiency of manpower, supply, and equipment.
    • Manage operations by maintaining efficiencies to reduce cost, increase add-on account sales and improve profitability; to meet the fiscal budget for the department
    • Provide leadership and support in a 365x24x7 work setting, being available for emergency and off-hour support.
    • Promote strong safety culture and work environment.
    • Train and manage Site Supervisors, and Project Leads
    • Continually evaluate procedures, methods, and equipment for purposes of improving performance, efficiency, and reducing cost
    • Other duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS

    EDUCATION, LICENSE, and/or CERTIFICATION

    • BA/BS degree, or equivalent work experience
    • Must have a valid Driver’s License

    EXPERIENCE and/or KNOWLEDGE

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    • 4 years of supervisory experience in a commercial cleaning environment

    SKILL and/or ABILITIES

    • Ability to speak and understand Spanish
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills, the ability to interface with a wide variety of people, and a truly professional approach
    • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, assertive, and a proven track record in exceeding objectives
    • Strong process management and reporting skills
    • Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
    • Ability to operate various janitorial machinery (vacuums, buffers, extractors, etc.)
    • Committed to the highest level of ethics, determination, and a “desire to succeed”
    • Strong time management and multi-tasking skills for deadline-driven projects
