Description

• Plans, coordinates and performs facilities project and maintenance engineering work for facility infrastructure, production equipment and processes of moderate to large scope
• Prepare plans, bid documents, schedules and cost estimates
• Development and improvement of new and existing preventive maintenance plans
• Participate in contract negotiation, renewals, and extensions, not exclusively but includes dealing with insurance, lease properties, and utilities.
• Research and evaluate latest industry trends
• Work effectively across organizations and sites to promote best practice sharing
• Review new product plans and discuss equipment needs and modifications with design engineers
• Assists in the annual budget planning process and manages expenditures for assigned facilities operations

Qualifications

• Requirements Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience considered
• Ability to manage both OPEX and CAPEX budgets when approved
• Good computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in ACAD, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Word
• Experience with managing engineering contractors and contracts
• Able to plan and execute engineering projects independently
• Able to communicate effectively and clearly to drive action and/or result
• Knowledge of CNC machines, Injection molding machines, Cabling equipment, and SMT equipment
• Knowledge of facility infrastructure, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, fire regulation/suppression systems, and automation
• Willing to broaden knowledge and understanding of industry financial drive
• Ability to interact with various departments such as Quality, Safety, Production, Maintenance, etc
