Job Title: Facilities Site Maintenance Manager

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Facilities Site Manager to perform all duties associated with the maintenance of our school facilities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The Facilities Site Manager will play a critical role in ensuring that our school environment remains conducive to learning, safe for students and staff, and aesthetically pleasing.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintenance:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance plan for all school facilities, including buildings, grounds, and equipment.

- Coordinate and supervise routine maintenance tasks such as HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and general repairs.

- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and address any issues promptly.

- Manage relationships with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance and repair services.

- Keep the grounds well-manicured: mowing, trimming, trash-free

2. Safety and Security:

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols to maintain a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors.

- Pay attention to weather conditions and plan accordingly: notifying administration of any concerns.

- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to maintenance, safety inspections, and equipment servicing.

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma

- Proven experience in managing facilities, preferably in an educational setting.

- Strong knowledge of buildings and maintenance practices.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving abilities.
