Manages and assists in the planning & execution of the annual, monthly, weekly & daily activities involving building and machine maintenance which includes facility support systems such as HVAC, lighting, water, air compressors, site grounds, security, and the overall facility appearance. Managing and coordinating the work of maintenance and facility associates who repair and maintain production equipment and machinery and the building and facility systems. Reports to the Managing Director (site leader), collaborating with the site leadership team and their internal customers as needed to ensure the operational & financial success of the business.Primary Responsibilities
- Develops, prepares, maintains, executes and reports on an effective preventive maintenance system for applicable equipment and machinery.
- Hires, evaluates, supervises, coaches, counsels and manages performance of direct reports, including supervisors, technicians and specialists.
- Prepares work schedules, assigns work and oversees the work product of maintenance and facility team while minimizing overtime, attendance gaps, and costs.
- Arranges for and manages appropriate third-party contractor support as needed
- Prepares budgets and spending plans and ensures compliance to them.
- Secures estimates and cost quotes as needed.
- Manage projects and participate in strategic and tactical planning on a weekly, monthly and annual basis.
- Develops & enforces effective, proactive and responsive safety and housekeeping practices with a goal of zero injuries.
- Orders parts and maintains adequate MRO part supply to ensure optimal equipment and facility availability
- Selects, trains, coaches and develops maintenance & facilities staff
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety, health & environmental regulations, policies and requirements
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities including reading technical publications, attending workshops & other development activities
- Supports and participates in achieving Safety, Health & Environmental objectives
- Collaborates with Digital Technology lead and support team to ensure effective facility and site security.
Years of Experience- 5 or more years of experience in similar role & environment using Total Preventive Maintenance systems, processes, metrics, methods and tools
Degree Preferred- Professional degree or technical certification in core desired competencies

- Competent with MS Office in the analysis of data and preparation of reports, graphs & charts to show effectiveness of maintenance and facilities status and effectiveness of improvement plans.
- Competent with use and management of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for developing, planning, executing and reporting on preventive maintenance activities and results.
- Mechanical & electrical system diagnostic & repair skill sufficient to adequately supervise, support and assist maintenance & facilities staff.
- Knowledge of industry standard preventive maintenance systems, processes, metrics, methods & tools.
