    Overview of Position

    The Facilities Maintenance Manager is responsible for project coordinating, scheduling and performing of routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures at all WCM facilities. The Facilities Maintenance Manager is the first person to address any mechanical failures in the production and/or dispensary retail facilities mechanical failures and therefore may be called in during off hours for emergency situations. The primary responsibility of the Facilities Maintenance Manager is to oversee maintenance and repairs ion the production facilities and to be involved in renovations and repairs for all other WCM facilities. The Facilities Maintenance Manager role does have supervisory responsibilities.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    · Coordinates, oversees and can performs minor and major repair of all buildings and equipment. Major repairs may include planning and coordination with internal maintenance technician steam, external contractors, or licensed tradesman. Repairs can include emergency situations or scheduled repairs

    · Troubleshoots minor maintenance problems involving electrical, structural, plumbing, and equipment repair or replacement

    · Performs preventive maintenance procedures on mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis; inspects belts, checks fluid levels, replaces filters, greases bearings, seals, etc.; repairs or replaces broken parts

    · Manages outside vendor communications, contracts, and schedules for facility systems

    · Completes daily, weekly and monthly checklists on equipment maintenance procedures and maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures

    · Inspects and repairs HVAC and Chiller equipment at the user level and schedules and monitors high-level maintenance by certified HVAC Professionals

    · Inspects and repairs hot water heaters, industrial dish washer, appliances, sinks, toilets, lockers, furniture, etc.

    · Inspects and repairs plumbing leaks in the irrigation system

    · Inspects and routinely replaces grow lights according to the rotating light replacement schedule

    · Repairs grow benches/tables

    · Maintains air compressor and scientific chiller in support of WCM Extraction procedures

    · Manages facility repair request tool software for all WCM facilities

    · In conjunction with the Logistics Manager, may schedule Delivery Driver to assemble and move furniture, hang pictures and bulletin boards, move and set up tables and chairs, replace broken windows, repair doors, door locks, etc. while on transfer route

    · May operate a computer which controls and monitors mechanical equipment and utility systems

    · Installs electrical wiring and equipment; new electrical services, wiring during remodeling projects; replaces and repairs wiring as needed

    · Repairs electrical equipment and control circuits; replaces faulty electrical switches; repairs refrigeration/freezer equipment

    · May repair electrical locks and control panels to maintain building security or coordinate with security service company for work beyond his/her expertise

    · May install computer cable

    · Assists with the renovation/remodeling of buildings; repairs plaster and drywall; paints building and structures inside and out

    · Performs outside custodial duties such as snow/ice removal as required

    · Obtains estimates for supplies, repair parts; and orders items as needed

    · Responsible for scheduling and/or performing routine maintenance on company vehicles to include transport trucks and forklift

    · May be required to update company policies or SOPs as new equipment is acquired or as situations change

    · Responsible for procurement and availability of vehicles, tools, materials, and equipment when necessary and ensures that they are used safely, effectively, and efficiently

    · Ensure that all facility resources are well-maintained, well-organized, and reordered promptly

    · Conduct yearly review of all processes to ensure proper permitting and licensing

    · Participate in quarterly layout planning and analysis

    · Assist with the WCM Operations Manual and SOP maintenance relating to Facilities Maintenance

    · Attend weekly meetings – prepare and present situational updates on Facilities Maintenance

    · Other duties may be assigned by the DPO according to company needs

    Qualifications

    Education

    · High school diploma or equivalent

    Work Experience

    · 8 years of responsible experience in building and mechanical equipment maintenance and repair; or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience

    · Work history showing flexibility and willingness to accept additional projects or challenges

    Required Knowledge

    · Knowledge of trades related to building maintenance and repair

    · Knowledge of a variety of building maintenance procedures and techniques

    · Knowledge of machinery, equipment, and tools necessary for the maintenance and repair of buildings

    · Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions

    Skills and Abilities

    · Ability to lead and delegate effectively to direct reports

    · Skill in reading and following blueprints and assembly instructions

    · Skills in following safety practices and recognizing hazards

    · Skill in using hand and power tools

    · Ability to effectively communicate with members at all levels of the organization

    · This position requires a flexible schedule and more than 40 hours per week

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
