SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, approximately 6:00am - 3:00pm. These hours can flex depending on emergency business needs.
PAY RANGE: $70k - $75k per year salary based on experience.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Conducting daily facility inspection to identify cleanliness and maintenance issues, ensuring facilities systems are within operational standards"
- Properly prioritizing tasks and overseeing daily routine of facilities team to achieve operational standards

Communicate with Warehouse managers for daily needs and process improvements/ equipment repair

Executing the Ajax Turner preventative maintenance plan
- Scheduling and managing outside vendors, repair service providers, and maintenance service providers

Troubleshooting and performing basic mechanical / HVAC / Electrical tasks
- Ensuring outside vendors follow safety procedures when onsite
- Utilizing purchase order system to maintain supplies for the facilities team
- Answering emergency calls from Director of Ops when needed
- Keeping processes and procedures manuals up to date
- Assuring workforce is adhering to all company safety policies including fall protection, proper PPE, Lock Out Tag Out

Staying up to date on all safety certifications and renewing when necessary
- Prepare and maintain yearly budgets for facilities needs and manage costs appropriately

Backfill facilities team responsibilities in case of absenteeism
- Assisting the Director of Operations with facilities projects
- Fulfilling pre-established programs and objectives set by management
- "Complying with all government regulations and ATCO job processes, work rules, policies, and instructions as they apply to your position"
- Demonstrating the ATCO's mission, vision, and values in all responsibilities

- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, extra technical education a plus
- 5 years of related plumbing, electrical, or HVAC knowledge and experience preferred

Licensed electrician, plumber, or HVAC / commercial refrigeration experience preferred

Excellent safety record and understanding of the importance of workplace safety
- Clean safety record, MVR, and background check
- Must be a very personable and a great communicator with a demonstrated ability to mentor and coach

Tow Motor / MPE Certified or willing to train for this certificate
- Experience operating and maintaining a Tennant T20 scrubbers is a very strong plus

Must be resourceful and willing to take initiative with the ability to quickly solve problems

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Friendly, courteous, works well with others, and maintains a professional appearance

Willing to be trained and certified in advanced education in required fields (HVAC/Plumbing/Electrical)

Self-motivated with a great attentiveness to details and a positive can-do attitude

Monitor and maintain static air temps in a temperature controlled warehouse
- Comfort with maintaining food grade requirements in a warehouse setting governed by USADA and FDA

Familiarity with Lantech stretch wrap machines is desirable
- Familiarity with Rite Hite or similar dock door systems, including dock levelers and shelters

Highly organized with the ability to manage priorities and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to work flexible hours
- Ability to diagnose needed repairs, create a plan and budget, and coordinate internally and w/ external vendors for execution
