FACILITIES MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR jobs in New Britain, CT

Exciting opportunity to grow with a quickly expanding facility maintenance company. Headquartered out of Buffalo, New York - we currently operate in New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Georgia and Florida. We are now looking to hire technicians in the Connecticut market! We have existing relationships with several major national retail chains, and therefore all of the work is commercial in nature.

Typical repair and maintenance includes electrical, plumbing, and general handyman work including painting, caulking, ceramic tiling and power washing. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong plumbing or handyman background. 5 years of repair and maintenance experience required, our ideal candidate will be well rounded in most trades.

We will expect you to treat our clients in a very friendly and professional manner - as customer service is the most important aspect of our company. We seek candidates who truly enjoy working in our field and those that possess attention to detail, follow through, and take pride in their work. This career is ideal for those that enjoy working in different trades each day, and driving to different store locations, generally within a 1-2 hour radius. You will be given a great deal of independence, and in many ways be operating as an independent contractor with the support of our office staff and mobile app.

Candidates must have a clean and valid driver’s license with no major infractions within the past 7 years. Our company will provide a work van and all tools necessary to complete the jobs. Must maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of company vehicle.

Full time position. Typical schedule is Monday-Friday. Times may vary, but generally 8-4 or 9-5 depending on the customer's needs. Occasional weekend and overnights required. Weekend and overnight work receives increased bonus pay.

Wage is up to $40 per hour, and is based on your skill set and experience.
