Facilities Maintenance

Monday – Friday 7:00 AM- 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Occasional Weekends.

Objective:

Will do ongoing repair and upkeep of the facility. Involving a wide range of tasks including preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and general upkeep, to ensure facility operates effectively, efficiently and safely.

Essential Job Functions:

• General repairs to building including but not limited to painting, patching walls.
• Snow Removal with Equipment.
• Waste Management with Equipment.
• Operate Equipment such as Sweeper, Skid Steer, Forklift and more.
• Basic Electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Grounds/ Landscaping and cleaning.
• Complete work order forms.
• Work from ladders and Aerial Work Platforms.
• Appropriate Seasonal property upkeep to include shoveling snow, salting walkways, weeding and more.
• Conducts routine maintenance tasks.
• Conduct Daily walkthroughs to determine maintenance needs.
• Handle Hand and Power tools.

Other job Functions:

• Participate in 6S Projects at facility.
• Support Maintenance Projects as needed.
• Perform other job functions as assigned by the Manager in an ever-changing and improving department.

• Pass Equipment training on site and follow safety program.
• Must have adequate reading and math skills.
• Must be able to be willing to learn.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing environment.

Physical Environment / Physical Requirements:

• Job function requires near/ far/depth vision.
• Ability to carry vertically / horizontally up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to sit 8-10 hours a day.
• Be exposed to temperature extremes inside or out.
• Prolonged standing or in a stationary position.
• Complete repetitive movements.
• Handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Ascend / descend stairs.
• Ability to work around in a manufacturing environment including noise and dust.
• Wear all the required personal protective equipment (hearing, vision, and hardhat protection).
• Ability to remain upright with constant moving and lifting for extended periods of time.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
