We are currently looking to fill the following position at our Toppenish, WA location. 

TITLE: Facilities Maintenance Mechanic

POSITION PURPOSE:  The Facilities Maintenance Mechanic will be a reliable individual skilled in the construction trades, with demonstrated experience in building maintenance and maintenance person services. This position will report directly to the Site Services Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
• Manage time effectively, and perform work in a safe and professional manner
• Estimate time and extent of repairs
• Oversee/assist with work performed by outside contractors as necessary.
• Maintain all building related PIP, SQF, and Corrective work order repairs.
• Drywall repair patching, painting
• Carpentry repair doors, molding, furnishings, cabinets
• Plumbing repair toilets, urinals, sinks, caulking
• Electrical maintain lights interior & exterior, light fixtures
• HVAC filters, grills, belts, baseboard heating
• Inspect roofs and drains regularly
• General maintenance and routine preventative maintenance
• Ability to perform required job functions without direct supervision.
• Will follow PPE, SQF, and GMP guidelines.

• Maintain a positive attendance record by demonstrating consistent and punctual attendance on a regular basis
• Perform other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Previous experience in building maintenance and construction trades, i.e. plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, tile, etc.
• Familiarity with construction tools and equipment.
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Must possess good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Be able to perform basic physical tasks such as lifting 50lbs on a constant basis.
• Must have own basic hand tools.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION: 

• Mechanical job-related experience for 1 year minimum

WAGE RANGE: $19.65 - $21.75 per hour

BENEFITS: Competitive benefit package offered for employees (and qualified dependents) working 30 hours per week includes medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, long-term disability, 401k, PTO accrual up to 15 days per year, seven (7) paid holidays annually
