Facilities Manager manages the maintenance, construction, repair, and refurbishment operations of one or more facilities or properties. Implements policies and procedures that ensure the optimal functioning of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment. Being a Facilities Manager monitors daily building operations of all systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management to ensure reliability. Tracks work orders for quality, adherence to service standards, and budgeted guidelines. Additionally, Facilities Manager trains supervisors and employees in best practices for maintenance work, service and safety standards, and local laws and regulations. Oversees vendors or contractors engaged for construction projects. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Facilities Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Facilities Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     What you'll do

    • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to Business Office Managers and staff across the region.
    • Implement monitoring mechanisms to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue cycle management and financial outcomes.
    • Conduct thorough assessments of multiple center business offices within the region to evaluate their financial performance and accounts receivable management.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill enhancement to empower business office professionals to excel in their roles and adapt to evolving industry dynamics.
    • Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks to identify potential compliance issues or billing discrepancies.
    • Lead initiatives to identify opportunities for process improvement, workflow optimization, and revenue enhancement within business office functions.

    What you need

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or related field preferred.
    • Technical knowledge of inpatient skilled nursing, managed care, and long-term care billing.
    • Experience coaching, educating, and preparation of revenue and accounts receivable management.
    • Two years of supervisory experience.
    • Ability to effectively coordinate people and resources.
    • Proficient with computer programs including scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
    • Highly organized and detail oriented.
    • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
