Facilities Planner plans building or refurbishment projects focused on effectively utilizing spaces and resources to support the organization's physical facility and space needs. Conducts evaluations of current facilities to assess short-term and long-term space needs and produce feasibility studies. Being a Facilities Planner prepares and reviews designs, layout plans, specifications, and standards that comply with building regulations, industry best practices, and organizational requirements. Estimates costs for labor, materials, and services. Additionally, Facilities Planner generates, monitors, and updates project plans and timelines with task details, deliverables, and status updates. Coordinates construction and installation processes and expedites delivery of materials required by projects. May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Facilities Planner occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. We have an exciting opportunity at our Crestline (Mansfield), Ohio plant for a Maintenance Planner / Supervisor / Engineer. The Planner will develop the scheduled maintenance programs and processes for the production facility to minimize the impact on production. This position is responsible for all decisions of the facility's preventative maintenance program, including but not limited to decisions involving budget spending and staffing for PMs and may assist with supervision of craft type personnel for the installation phase of projects and PMs. The Maintenance Planner, reports to the Manager of Engineering & Maintenance.
