Being a Facilities Planner prepares and reviews designs, layout plans, specifications, and standards that comply with building regulations, industry best practices, and organizational requirements. Estimates costs for labor, materials, and services. Additionally, Facilities Planner generates, monitors, and updates project plans and timelines with task details, deliverables, and status updates. Coordinates construction and installation processes and expedites delivery of materials required by projects. May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Facilities Planner occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Job Description
The Service Planner will actively plan, coordinate, manage, monitor and report on all aspects of the maintenance, repair, operations (MRO) for their assigned products.
They will also cross-train with other service planners to ensure full coverage of all MRO activities for all products at all times.
Service planners are responsible for the timely and efficient processing of repair items. Service planners are ultimately responsible to ensure that repair Turn Around Time (TAT) satisfy customer and business requirements.
