Facilities Planner plans building or refurbishment projects focused on effectively utilizing spaces and resources to support the organization's physical facility and space needs. Conducts evaluations of current facilities to assess short-term and long-term space needs and produce feasibility studies. Being a Facilities Planner prepares and reviews designs, layout plans, specifications, and standards that comply with building regulations, industry best practices, and organizational requirements. Estimates costs for labor, materials, and services. Additionally, Facilities Planner generates, monitors, and updates project plans and timelines with task details, deliverables, and status updates. Coordinates construction and installation processes and expedites delivery of materials required by projects. May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Facilities Planner occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Responsibilities include:

    Primary Material Planner for the electronics department for the Wellsboro, PA facility.
    Create, modify, and track purchase orders to support production schedules and customer demand.
    Interact with other planners, customer service, sales, and operations to monitor changing demands and avoid past due.
    Support corporate inventory goals by properly managing inventory.
    Determine material shortages, take appropriate actions, and communicate these actions.
    Maintain a strong working relationship with peers, managers, other departments, and vendors.
    Work on all issues that are potentially impactful to on time customer delivery and provide updates to the Planning Manager.
    Position requires compliance with the Technology Control Plan and the Federal Export Control Policy established for the corporation.


    REQUIREMENTS:

    4-year degree in business or technical field.

    Strong technical background and interpersonal skills.

    Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

    2 to 3 years of experience is preferred
