Facilities Planner plans building or refurbishment projects focused on effectively utilizing spaces and resources to support the organization's physical facility and space needs. Conducts evaluations of current facilities to assess short-term and long-term space needs and produce feasibility studies. Being a Facilities Planner prepares and reviews designs, layout plans, specifications, and standards that comply with building regulations, industry best practices, and organizational requirements. Estimates costs for labor, materials, and services. Additionally, Facilities Planner generates, monitors, and updates project plans and timelines with task details, deliverables, and status updates. Coordinates construction and installation processes and expedites delivery of materials required by projects. May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager.   • Duties

    • Provide evidence-based psychotherapy for complex psychiatric/social issues such as mental health conditions or emotional challenges.
    • Establish treatment plans to identify a patient's problems, strengths, weaknesses, coping skills and determine what assistance is needed.
    • Provide therapeutic measures geared towards securing cognitive and behavioral adjustment by recognizing and resolving issues related to patient's attitude towards themselves, family and/or others.
    • Conduct intake evaluations and psycho-diagnostic assessments to address diagnostic and treatment issues.
    • Utilize psychological assessment measures to explore the development of behavior patterns, mechanisms, and symptoms.
    • Work with line operational units to address mental health factors impacting human performance such as suicide, post-traumatic stress, traumatic brain injury and anxiety disorders.
    • Provide psychological consultation, education and training to other mental health professionals, medical staff, military commanders/senior leaders and other Department of Defense and civilian providers.

    Basic Requirement for Social Worker:

    Degree: Master's degree (or higher degree) in social work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.

    In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below:

    Specialized Experience:One year of specialized experience which includes conducting bio-psychosocial evaluations for behavioral health patients, providing individual or group therapy, and formulating behavioral health interventions or treatment plans. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

    Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone-no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

    Licensure: A current, active, valid, unrestricted clinical license to practice Social Work independently, offered by a U.S. State, District of Columbia, commonwealth, territory or jurisdiction.
