Facilities Planner plans building or refurbishment projects focused on effectively utilizing spaces and resources to support the organization's physical facility and space needs. Conducts evaluations of current facilities to assess short-term and long-term space needs and produce feasibility studies. Being a Facilities Planner prepares and reviews designs, layout plans, specifications, and standards that comply with building regulations, industry best practices, and organizational requirements. Estimates costs for labor, materials, and services. Additionally, Facilities Planner generates, monitors, and updates project plans and timelines with task details, deliverables, and status updates. Coordinates construction and installation processes and expedites delivery of materials required by projects. May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Facilities Planner occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Submits product for selloff.Duties & Responsibilities- Performs tasks as directed by supervisor.
- Visits the various production areas to ascertain production status.
- Maintain and update production schedules by recording work completed and the status of work in process.
- Reports delays in assembly or the availability of materials to management.
- Assists in compiling reports, expediting orders through purchasing, receiving, receiving inspection and manufacturing.
- Prepares daily reports on the status of assemblies in process or the delivery of materials.
- Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects.
- Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules.
- Ensures shop orders requirements are satisfied.
- Ensures shop orders are completed.
- Interfaces with other departments to ensure smooth flow of required materials
- Reports losses, damage scrap and rework as required.
- Performs other duties as directed
Skills- High school diploma or equivalent, 2 or 4 year degree preferred
- 1-2 years experience in manufacturing or inventory control or a combination of education and experience

For some positions, only PTO and holiday benefits are offered.Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:$41,354 - $65,366Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment.
